The paper was derived from a bigger study that examined the relationship between rewards and employee performance at Mulago Referral Hospital. The research adopted a case study research design. Data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential as well as qualitative methods. The objectives which guided the study were: •To examine the relationship between pay and employee performance •To establish a relationship between training and employee performance and •To assess whether a relationship exists between promotion and employee performance at Mulago Referral Hospital
